On first launch, the app shows a safety message.
Read this message and tap Understood to continue.
The message will not be shown again unless the app data
is deleted or the app is reinstalled.
Learning a New Relay Board
An unknown relay board must be tested before the app
saves it.
1. Open Settings.
2. Select Connection.
3. Tap Search BLE relay boards.
4. Select the relay board from the list.
5. Enter the Generic password if needed.
6. Tap Inspect / learn selected board.
7. Then tap Test relay 1 and learn.
8. Check that relay 1 actually switches.
9. If relay 1 worked, tap Relay 1 worked - save board.
10. If relay 1 did not work, tap Relay 1 did not work.
A board is only saved after relay 1 has been successfully
tested and confirmed.
Password for Generic BLE Boards
Some Generic FFE0 relay boards use a password or
unlock code.
Go to:
Settings > Connection
Enter the board password under Generic password.
This is usually a numeric code, for example 6 or 8 digits.
If the password or protocol is incorrect, the board may still
be found, but then disconnect again or not respond to the
relay test.
Connecting a Relay Board
1. Turn on the relay board.
2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone.
3. Open the app.
4. Open Settings.
5. Select Connection.
6. Tap Search BLE relay boards.
7. Tap the detected relay board in the list.
8. Tap Connect to selected board.
If the board is already known, it will be activated
immediately and the relay buttons will appear on the main
screen.
Saved Relay Boards
Under Settings > Saved relay boards, you can see the
boards that have been learned before.
When the app is opened again, it tries to automatically
reconnect saved boards as soon as they are available.
The order in which boards were learned also determines the
global relay numbers. The first learned board gets the first
relay numbers, followed by the second board, and so on.
Example:
- An 8-relay board learned first uses relays 1 to 8.
- A 4-relay board learned after that uses relays 9 to 12.
- A 2-relay board learned after that uses relays 13 and 14.
Controlling Relays
On the main screen, you can see the relay buttons for the
connected boards.
Tap a button to control the relay. The behavior of the button
depends on the selected relay function.
The button color shows whether the relay is on or off
according to the app.
Relay Functions
For each relay, you can set how the button works.
Open: Settings > Relays
Then choose the relay you want to adjust.
Hold
The relay stays active as long as you keep the button
pressed.
As soon as you release the button, the relay switches off
again.
Pulse
The relay switches on briefly and then automatically
switches off again.
This function is useful when you need a short switching
action.
Toggle
Each button press changes the state.
Press once to switch the relay on. Press again to switch it
off.
Delayed Off
The relay switches on and then automatically switches off
after the set delay.
You can set the delay from 0.1 to 30 seconds.
Blink
The relay switches on and off repeatedly.
You can set the blink interval from 0.1 to 5 seconds.
With Blink button only, only the button in the app will blink,
without repeatedly switching the physical relay on and off.
Automatic Light
With automatic light control, the app can switch a relay
based on the measured light level.
Open: Settings > Automatic Light
There you can:
- turn automatic light control on or off
- choose the relay that should switch automatically
- set the delay
- view the current light level
- use the current light level as the threshold
- adjust the threshold manually
A lower light value means less light. By setting the
threshold, you determine when the relay should respond.
Adjusting Button Appearance and Names
Settings > Buttons
Under Settings > Buttons, you can adjust the appearance
of the buttons.
Here you can change the button text for each relay.
The entered texts are saved and are also used when saved
boards automatically reconnect later.
Adjusting Colors
Settings > Colors
Under Settings > Colors, you can set the background
color and the colors for the on and off states.
This allows you to customize the controls to match your
own style or use case.
Apple Watch
The Apple Watch app shows the same relay buttons as the
iPhone.
To use the Apple Watch app, the iPhone app must be
available and the data must be updated through
WatchConnectivity.
If the Watch shows Waiting for iPhone:
1. Open the iPhone app.
2. Check that the relay boards are connected.
3. Then open the Watch app again.
4. If needed, check that the iPhone and Apple Watch are
properly connected.
Error Messages
The app shows messages in Settings > Connection when
something goes wrong.
Bluetooth Is Turned Off
Turn on Bluetooth on the iPhone and try searching again.
No Board Found
Check that the relay board has power, is close enough, and
is not already connected to another app.
Board Disconnected
Check the power supply, distance and antenna position of
the relay board. If needed, briefly turn the board off and on
again.
Password or Protocol Not Recognized
Check the password and try learning the board again.
Some boards use a different protocol and may not be
supported.
Tips
- Learn boards in the order in which you want to use them.
- Give relays clear names, such as Gate, Light, Pump or
Fan.
- Always test with a safe load before connecting real
equipment.
- Use Hold only when you want the relay to stay active only
while you keep the button pressed.
- Use Toggle for normal on/off control.
- Use Pulse or Delayed Off for short actions.
Support
If you experience problems, first check:
- is Bluetooth turned on?
- does the relay board have sufficient power?
- is the relay board close enough?
- is the board not connected to another app?
- is the password correct?
- was relay 1 successfully tested during learning?
If the problem continues, note the name of the relay board,
the number of relays, the password used, and exactly what
happens when connecting or switching.
